Here, too, a large colony of gentoo penguins. And we are really fortunate to see a very rare Isabelline or blonde penguin, which looks like but is not an albino. Also more fur seals, and a leopard seal on an ice-floe, a solitary living predator and one of the penguins greatest enemies. On land it is the south polar skua which presents a constant danger when there are penguin chicks.
