The still rarely visited Northeast of India is completely different to the rest of the country. A predominantly Tibeto-Burmese people, with mainly buddhists in the Himalayas, the till recently still head hunting Naga tribes bordering Myanmar, and otherwise also a crucible beliefs and customs, with an overpowering military presence everywhere.
